Bespoke WordPress Websites
Bespoke WordPress Websites – Are you fed up with website builders or off-the-shelf themes and looking for a truly bespoke website provider?
My sites are designed and built just for you. No off-the-shelf themes or frameworks here just bespoke WordPress websites. My approach is simple, find out what the purpose of your website is and create something unique for you and your business. I will ensure your site is built to industry standards and facilitates powerful on-page SEO tools. The site will work seamlessly across a variety of modern browsers and, of course, it will be fully responsive, displaying your content clearly on popular mobile and tablet devices.
Why use WordPress?
I use the popular WordPress content management system (CMS) to create all my websites. WordPress is incredibly popular for a number of reasons. It’s super easy to use and search engines love it. WordPress is a global community with thousands of popular add-ons to enhance its basic functionality. Not convinced? Check out this impressive stat which is increasing all the time.
WordPress powers 28% of the internet.
UX stands for user experience and it is crucial, but often overlooked. A website should be easy to use and navigate as well as looking great. Making decision purely on look and feel is a mistake. The positioning of elements on a page should be carefully considered and be in line with current best practice. I will take care of all this complicated stuff for you and advise you on the best layout to use. The visual design of the page will be bespoke and just how you like it.
My USP is I build sites that not only look good but also work hard behind the scenes for your business. A website is your most powerful marketing tool and making sure it is properly set up for SEO is so important. I carry out detailed keyword research for all my website projects, looking at competitors as well as your current site (if you have one). I will advise you on the best keywords to optimise your landing pages for and what words to target moving forwards.
Bespoke WordPress websites only incorporate the functional requirements necessary for the site to fulfil its main purpose. This ensures the site remains light-weight and simple to use. Functionality can be added through the use of code or plugins. The WordPress plugin directory has around 50 thousand plugins available but I only use highly rated or premium plugins in my website builds. This ensures the site remains stable and doesn’t become prone to hackers.

Detailed Project Stages
Each of my website projects follow a detailed process, in which there are various different stages. To ensure that the site is completed to the highest standard, each stage is completed before moving to the next. This approach allows for greater focus and better results.
Here is an example of some of my website project stages:
- Mood boards – A collection of found imagery to gauge creative preferences
- Wireframes – Hierarchy of information and page structure
- Content Supply – Text and images for each page
- Design Concepts – Initial look and feel ideas
- Skeleton Site – A development site where I build the site
- Snagging List – A list of small tweaks from the client
- Go Live Checks – 20+ technical checks before publishing the new site
Technical Support & Training
I offer two weeks of FREE technical support after your new site is live to ensure that everything is working correctly. Get the peace of mind you need, knowing I am still available to assist you with any technical issues that might arise in the two weeks after your new site is published.
In addition to this one hour of FREE, WordPress training is included in all projects so as to ensure you can use your new website. Training is completed via SKYPE screen share or (if local) face-to-face. WordPress is very easy to use but I will be able to guide you through your new site from top to bottom. You can gain the confidence to start making additions and changes to your new site straight away.
