Charity website design

Design and development for a series of charity sporting events

Updated: 30 Jan 2019 | Category: WordPress Websites | Tags: Charity websites

I created this charity website design for Sobell House, a local Banbury charity who provide dedicated specialist palliative care and support to adult patients and their family, friends and carers.

Sobell House needed a website to promote a series of fundraising sporting events. The main event was a 10-mile midnight walk in Oxford City centre. There were to be two other events in a series they named Light The Night.

The main purpose of the website would be to promote the events and direct people to purchase tickets via Eventbrite.

"We are really happy with the site and wish to pass on our sincere thanks to Charlotte for making the whole process straightforward."

Cara Waller, Events Manager @ Sobell House

The results

I created a bespoke WordPress design and build which focused on providing users with information about the events and links to purchase tickets.

The design closely reflected the brand style that had been created for the Light The Night series.

Bold colours and high contrast was used to ensure the website was accessible to all.
